A safety check and a service
are not the same thing.
A landlord gas safety inspection records the safety checks and findings for the appliances in its agreed scope. A boiler service is routine maintenance. Check that both are included if that is what you require.

Any remedial work identified is explained and quoted separately. A record of the inspection is not a promise that every appliance will pass.
Practical questions

Does the price cover every appliance?
Confirm the appliance combination and final price in booking. Do not assume an unlimited number of appliances or a full boiler service is included in a single standard appointment.
Can I combine a service and the safety check?
Choose a combined appointment where offered in booking, or ask for the correct scope before booking. A CP12 alone should not be treated as evidence that a full boiler service has been completed.
How will I receive the record?
Gas Champion issues digital records after the visit. You can keep a copy and share it with your tenant or letting agent.
What are my responsibilities as a landlord?

Is a CP12 included in a maintenance plan?
The Gold plan includes a CP12 gas safety certificate. Check the plan terms and the required appliance scope; joining a plan does not automatically book or complete an inspection.
